Josh Carter and his wife, Katie, both grew up in Prattville, Alabama, before attending Auburn University. Josh became a Christian at an early age, but it was during college that he developed a passion for preaching and teaching God’s Word.

After graduation, the Carters began working with the church in Northport, Alabama, where Josh trained with David Maxson from 2015 to 2018. They then moved to San Francisco, California, to help another couple plant a new local congregation in the Mission District, serving there from 2018 to 2021.

Josh and Katie have been working with the Lawrenceville church since March 2021.
